My name is Ron. I’m an MD-MPH and a patient who has been on both sides of the fence tackling the epidemic of chronic illness, presenting with symptoms of low energy, weight gain, brain fog, melancholy, pain, bloating, and irritable bowel i.e. metabolic syndrome. All of which are primarily due to lifestyle factors. I have to remind patients that a bulging midline is not a “right of passage” and spending your “golden years” looking for your keys or sitting at the doctor’s office to get your scripts filled is not normal healthy aging. I get the frustration with the seemingly daunting task of making sustainable lifestyle changes. “Good news” is you don’t have to be a gourmet chef, marathon runner, or spend thousands of dollars on analytics and a life coach.

We put together an inspirational program which includes a critical educational component to increase the awareness of how the healthy evolution of our relationship with nourishment & movement has been disrupted in the modern world, no fault of yours, to get to the why it’s essential to integrate movement & nourishment into our lifestyle for healthy aging & achieving wellness. After getting to the why and how much, we minimize any barriers to accessing nourishment and movement. Most importantly, we included a mindfulness component to awaken one’s inner life coach to get us to our wellness destination.
